Senior Building & Civil Estimator

The Role

We are supporting a leading infrastructure contractor who are seeking a Senior Building & Civil Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This role will focus on the preparation of competitive tenders across civil, structural and building projects, working closely with engineering, commercial and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation

• Develop pricing strategies and manage supplier quotations

• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings

• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities

• Support junior estimators and assist with commercial handovers

About You

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar (or equivalent experience)

• 5–10 years’ experience in civil/building estimating

• Able to produce estimates independently

• Strong commercial and analytical skills

• Knowledge of NEC/FIDIC/Public Works Contracts advantageous

• Proficient in MS Office; estimating software experience beneficial
